PRUSSIAN BLUE is a very popular pigment of exceptional qualities. Mixed with linseed oil and ground in a ball mill or a triple roll mill it produces a concentrate which may be used as such or with extenders to give different shades, deep or light. It can similarly be mixed with other pigments to obtain a differebt colour. The pigment has very good light fastness and excellent acid resistance.

FINENESS : 90% passing through 300 mesh or below 50 microns

VOLATILE MATTER : Not more than 5%

OIL ABSORPTION : 60 to 90

COLOUR : Bright Blue

STAINING POWER : Very good

TONE : Bright greenish or reddish

MATTER SOLUBLE IN WATER : Not more tahn 2%

PH VALUE : Not less than 5

LIGHT FASTNESS : Very good

ACID RESISTANCE : Excellent

ALKALI RESISTANCE : Not- satisfactory
